About Hemsdale
Hemsdale Associates Pte Ltd (Hemsdale University Centre) was incorporated in July 1979. Its objective is to operate as a professional organization to satisfy the knowledge needs of individuals, small and medium enterprises, their owners and employees through workshops, seminars, distance learning programs and advisory services.

It is appointed as local representative of the following universities:
- Grand Canyon University, USA
- Malaspina University-College, Canada
- Nova Southeastern University, USA
- Ottawa University, USA
- Swinburne University of Technology, Australia
Along with Hemsdale Management School incorporated in August 1993, an approved training centre for ITE (Singapore), Swan TAFE (Australia), City & Guilds (UK), Association of Business Executives (UK), and Perth Institute (Australia), Hemsdale Associates offers the Doctor of Education, Doctor of Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, Master of Fire Safety Engineering, Graduate Diploma of Disaster Management, Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Tourism Management, and Bachelor of Science in Business.

In addition, Hemsdale Management School offered the Advanced Diploma and Diploma in Hospitality, in Food & Beverage Services, Accommodation Operations & Services, in Business Administration, in Tourism Management, in Food Preparation & Cooking as well as Diploma in Patisserie, National ITE Certificates and ITE Skill Certificate.
Hemsdale is located at Shaw Tower in the Central Business District, about 5-minute walk from Suntec City . It has 4 classrooms with a wide range of facilities for the provision of education, such as whiteboards, overhead and video projectors, VCR, television and wireless broadband Internet access. The largest classroom is able to accommodate 45 students. Teaching quality is preserved by ensuring a teacher/student ratio of 1:25. Hemsdale has 5 full-time lecturers and over 24 part-time lecturers.

Hemsdale has a cooking school located at 748 Upper East Cost Road where food preparation, cooking, patisseries and culinary arts are taught. This school, next to the bus terminal, has 5 class rooms and teaching facilities.
